Description

*North Africa, Small Antique Tuareg Silver Dagger*

Approximate measurements: 17.8cm overall, 9.6cm blade including ricasso, 8cm blade - 1.5cm wide.

The Tuareg inhabit the Sahara in North Africa and are very talented silver craftsmen. They create intricate jewelry and knives in the same style. This dagger incorporates very fine detailed designs in both the handle and scabbard.

The dagger has a straight, double-edged, tapered iron blade with an engraved silver plate surrounding the ricasso. The intricately profiled silver handle is engraved with a geometric pattern. The handle of the dagger is equally impressive. It's made of silver and wood and has been intricately designed with a geometric pattern that is both unique and eye-catching.
