This 20th Century bearskin is of bamboo construction, faux fur, white side plume, lining and a linked chin strap.

~ Dimensions ~

The helmet has a width of 7.5 inches (19cm), a depth of 9 inches (22.5cm) and a height of 12 inches (30.5 cm).
It weighs 680 grams.

~ Condition ~

The bearskin is in fair condition. It has retained a good shape but there are bald patches. The hair itself is very fragile and comes adrift easily, it is thus not suitable for wear but for display purposes only. All its fittings are in good order.
