An interesting sweetheart memento of the first world war.

This is a very attractive and unusual pendant of 9ct rose gold & leather.

The pendant consists of a disc of leather framed in rose gold with a rose gold flaming grenade motif set to the front.

The pendant has a suspension loop to the top for attaching to a necklace/chain.

The pendant is hallmarked to the reverse edge for 9ct gold, London, 1916 and has a makers mark which is a little worn but seems to read ‘C Brs’. It is also marked with a word that appears to read ‘FAIENI’.

~ Dimensions ~

The pendant has a diameter of 2.7cm and weighs 3.4g.

~ Condition ~

Due to its age the leather is a little worn and scaly but the gold is in a nice condition with minimal wear from prior use. The suspension loop has a minor dent.
