The vase has a rope weave handle with gilt decoration and also a gilt lined base.

It is decorated with a peacock to either side, surrounded by pink and blue floral sprays. Above is a blue chequered border, this pattern is repeated on the inside rim.

The piece is back stamped...

The piece is free from chips and cracks. The gilding has minimal wear.
