Here we have a wonderful bayonet manufactured during World War One.
This bayonet is nicely marked, it has the ‘1907’ pattern mark beneath the Crown and GR, this bayonet was made in 1918 and bears Enfield proof marks and the makers. name “Wilkinson” to the ricasso.
The other side bears three Enfield period inspectors marks, and broad arrow acceptance mark and a “32” mark (meaning that it has been reproof for service after the war’s end).
The grips are made of brown varnished wood.
It comes with its original black leather scabbard and webbing frog.

The blade is 17 inches (43 inches) long.
The bayonet is 21 ¾ inches (56 cm) long.
The bayonet in its scabbard is 22 ¼ inches (56.5 cm) long.
The bayonet weighs 720 g.
~ Condition ~
This blade is excellent condition with a keen edge and little sign of heavy use, it still has its mat grey finish.
The grips are in very good condition for their age and the spring clip works perfectly.
The scabbard and webbing frog are close to perfect with minor fraying to the pommel catch.
