~ Victorian Silvered Metal Grecian Hoplite Warrior Bust Inkwell ~

This is a silvered plated on brass piece with a brass mounted cut glass inkwell on a circular black slate base. The helmet hinges backwards to reveal the inkwell. The silvering is nicely done, rather than as an overall wash, it has been applied to bring out the highlights.

~ Condition ~

The piece is in great order. The base and glass are free from chips and cracks.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece stands at 18 cm (7.25 inches) tall including the base, the base has a diameter of 10 cm (4 inches). It weighs 0.9 Kg.
