An exceptional fully researched WWI father-and-son identity disc group to the Onions family of Douglas, Isle of Man, centred on Company Sergeant Major Arthur Onions DCM, South Lancashire Regiment—an Old Contemptible, decorated for gallantry and killed in action in 1918—together with the matched Manchester Regiment fibre identity discs of his father John Onions, and strong family links to brother Joseph Onions, wounded and gassed in 1918.
