~ 1770 British Tinder Lighter ~

The tinder lighter is interesting looking device it that was used to create fires by make a spark. To create spark the user will pull the mechanism back towards them and pull the trigger to directed the sparks onto the tinder which ignited create a small sparks which could then used ignited a fire.

The device is made out metal and has become a little rust over time.

The vase has a diameter of 7.4 inches (19 cm) and is the height of 2.9 inches (7.5 cm).
