Description

This is an excellent percussion pistol, used throughout the 19th Century as personal protection. These pistols were designed to stop a man in a single shot, hence, Manstopper. They were small guns as they were not meant to be used at range and they could be concealed easily. This particular pistol an excellent example and features a pineapple finial on the underside. It is able to be cocked and dry-fired.

*Condition*

This pistol is in excellent condition with minor surface damage. The hammer is fairly loose. Please see pictures for more detail as they form part of our condition report.
