The figure stands on the raised base applied with flowers. The putti holds a flower in one hand and a basket of fruit in the other hand. The figure is wearing a floral garland and chaplet. It is very finely painted in coloured glazes. Unmarked.

Bow figures originated around 1745. Thomas Frye and his silent partner, Edward Heylin, owned the patent. Their British factory made everyday, practical items, but will always be remembered for their porcelain figurines
