~ British 1856 Pattern Pioneer Sidearm Sword ~

The ricasso is stamped Birmingham, crown, ‘B’ and ’47’. The scabbard is numbered ’10’.

~ Condition ~

The blade has some pitting, otherwise fine. The scabbard is in good order with some wear.

~ Dimensions ~

The sword is 70 cm (24 inches) in total length with a 56.5 cm (22.5 inches) blade.
