Description

*British, 19th Century, Foot Artillery Pattern Sword*

Scarce variation with ribbed cast iron grip. Brass stirrup guard. The 29″ straight unfullered blade bears a large Crowned G.R. stamped onto one side. “WIDC 85” engraved on the handle.

74cm flat blade, 85cm overall

*Condition*
All firm, with no movement. The blade has old staining and some rust. Please see photographs as part of the condition report.
