Up for bid is a British Bolo Machete made by Martindale for the British military D M & S Ltd Sheath (dated 1944). The overall length of knife is 19 7/8". Blade length is 14 1/2". Blade has full tang. Blade measurement is from tip of blade to start of handle. Blade has manufacturer's info on one side which is faint & partially obliterated, but can be determined that it is Martindale. Handle appears to be a reddish resin material with 5 metal pins. The leather sheath is marked on reverse side with manufacturer's info: D.M & S Ltd with arrow symbol 1944.

Please be sure & view all photos attached for best detail. Condition, Exceptions, Remarks: Blade has signs of moderate use with light surface rust. Handle. Blade & handle are still tight with no play. Sheath has normal signs of age & use. Stitching & hardware intact. Considering age & exceptions, overall condition "Good".
