~ Chinese Hand Carved Ming Style Nephrite Jade Figure Of An Emperor ~
A lovely hand carved piece of nephrite jade in the form of an Emperor holding a sceptre as a symbol of power.
The nephrite jade is a light green grey colour.
The piece is in the Ching style but is of contemporary manufacture.
~ Dimensions ~
The statue has a height of 6 inches (15cm), a width of 2 ½ inches (6.3cm) and a depth of 1 ½ inches (4cm). It weighs 428g.
~ Condition ~
The figure has a chip to the back of the head and a couple of flea-bite chips to the base at the rear. The piece is in otherwise lovely condition.
