~ Chinese Ming Dynasty Nephrite Jade Carving Grasshopper On A Bamboo Stick ~

A lovely jade carving of a grasshopper on a bamboo stick, it is of the Ming-style and is most likely period.

The nephrite jade is a chalky pale celadon beige in colour with brown patches.

~ Dimensions ~

The piece has a length of 3.4 inches (8.7 cm), a width of 0.8 inches (2.2 cm) & a height of 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).

It weighs 130g
