~ Chinese Qing Dynasty Nephrite Jade Carving of a Pair of Foo Dogs ~
A nicely executed Qing Dynasty nephrite jade carving of two Chinese Foo dogs.
The piece depicts the two dogs, a female with a cub positioned head to toe producing a continuous circle.
The stone is pale celadon green with brown flecks.
Holes have been made between the two front paws of both mother and cub presumably through which to thread a string or similar so the piece can be mounted.

The piece measures 4.5cm by 5.5cm.
It weighs 80g.

The piece is in a lovely condition with no signs of damage.
