~ Circa 1850 Gilt Half Horse With Saddle Cloth ~
The piece is a hollow back in relief piece of brass with a gilt wash, depicting a stallion with saddle, saddlecloth and bridle. The accoutrements are in bright gilt, the horse’s body is in a semi-matt finish. There are a bolt and nut finishing to the reverse.
~ Condition ~
The gilt has minor wear in places, otherwise fine.

The horse is 21 cm (8.5 inches) wide by 20.5 cm (8 inches) tall.
