~ Circa 1937 Flint Glass Bowl For The Coronation Of George VI ~
This is a charming fruit bowl sized piece with studded decoration to the reverse.
The base of the bowl reads “God Save The King” whilst the sides read “Coronation Of King George VI May 12 1937”
~ Dimensions ~
The bowls diameter is 9 5/8 inches (24.5 cm) and its height is 1 7/8 inches (4.76cm). The bowl weighs 608 grams.
~ Condition ~
There is some black foreign matter within the glass on the right side of the bowl. There is a single scratch on the inside base of the bowl. Please refer to the pictures for more. The bowl is otherwise in excellent condition.
