A fine naval brass ships bulkhead clock.
The clock face is of white enamel with black Roman numerals, an outer minutes ring and black steel hands.
There is a subsidiary seconds dial with sweeping hand just above the centre and a fast/slow lever above that.
The dial is not named.
There is a bevelled glass and brass hinged lid to the front of the clock.
The clock is housed in a heavy brass case with screw holes around the circumference for mounting.
~ Dimensions ~
The clock face has a diameter of 9 inches (23cm).
The backing plate has a diameter of 10 ¾ inches (27cm).
The clock has a depth of 3 ½ inches (9cm).
It weighs 3.74Kg.
~ Condition ~
The clock face has only minor wear and a few pale yellow spots. The fast/slow lever is missing. The glass has one chip to the edge on the inside. The brass has some minor surface wear and the odd minor dent.
Overall the clock appears to be in a very nice condition but a service maybe required.
