~ Clarice Cliff Royal Staffordshire “Crocus” Sandwich Plate ~
A pretty Clarice Cliff sandwich plate in the crocus pattern.
The plate has a creamy yellow base with pale green rim and centre. The rim is edged with brown. The plate is decorated with three groups of crocus’s in pink, blue and yellow.
The plate is signed to the underside “Spring, Royal Staffordshire, Crocus by Clarice Cliff Made in England”.

The sandwich plate measure 9 inches (23cm) in diameter and weighs approximately 400g.
~ Condition ~
The plate has some extensive surface glaze crackling which has left the piece a little discoloured with age. It is however free from chips or cracks with the decoration all intact.
