~ Edwardian Royal Doulton Vase – Poppies? ~
This is a classic Edwardian vase decorated with embossed flowers (perhaps stylised poppies) on a dark-green and brown background.
The underside is marked with Lion over Crown, ‘Royal Doulton England’ stamp (dating the piece to between 1902 and 1922) along with a serial number 6794, leathers ‘BB7’ and an inscribed ‘P’ as the potters mark.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase has a diameter of 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) and it is 7.6 inches (19.5 cm) tall. It weighs 760 grams.
~ Condition ~
There are two chips and two cracks on the top, one chip on the base and general wear, as seen in the pictures.
