The metal part of the grip is serial numbered S24973. Top of the pommel is numbered: 39 The blade bears the Finnish maker’s name FISKARS on ricasso and civil guard marking Sk.Y.
The grips are burled birchwood screwed to the tang with two large metal screw bolts.
