~ French Made Mauser 1889 Model Rifle Deactivated ~

The top of the barrel reads “MANUFACTURE D ARMES DELETAT” and is stamped with a pair of UK Proof marks on the left-hand side of the barrel.

The barrel is serial-numbered 64274, as is the receiver. The magazine plate and stock are serial-numbered 67528.

The bolt is serial number 68246. All major components bear inspector proof marks.

~ Condition ~

The rifle cocks and dry fires. The metalwork developed a nice patina and the woodwork is very clean considering its age and use.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel is 22.5 inches (57 cm) long and the overall length of the rifle is 43.5 inches (110 cm).

It weighs 3.8 kg.
