A nice Georgian scissor-action candle snuffer.
The snuffer is made of white metal, shaped like a pair of scissors with a box atop.
The box has a decoratively engraved scalloped style edge.
The snuffer stands on three legs with ball feet.
The piece is not marked.

The snuffer has a length of 16.5cm (6 ½ inches) and weighs 105g.
~ Condition ~
There is a split to one of the finger hole handles.
Two of the legs are slightly skew and the tip of the snuffer is ever so slightly bent.
The metal has general patina from age.
The snuffer is in reasonably good working order.
