~ London 1900 Silver Bowl On A Pedestal Base ~
Here we have a beautiful piece of repoussé silverware from 1900, finely hammered silver with a very intricate design. It is a very elaborate piece made in the fashion of the late Victorian Era with mix of styles coming from Europe and the British Empire.
The bowl is solid sterling silver and clearly marked. The bowl was assayed in London in 1900 and made by Charles Stuart Harris of London who operated in the late 19th century to the early 20th. It is lightly gilded to the interior.
The bowl is in a wonderful condition for something of its age.
