~ London 1900 Small Silver Salver ~
A lovely small engraved silver salver dating to 1900.
The salver has a scalloped edge and rests on three feet with leaf decoration.
The salver is engraved to the front with a coat of arms style decoration incorporating a brick wall, foliage and a scroll with gryphon a top. The scroll reads ‘Pro
Deo et Ecclesia’ which is Latin for ‘For God and the Church’.
The reverse is engraved ‘For Mr And Mrs J.W. Bishop on Their Silver Wedding Anniversary, March 21st 1901’.
The salver is hallmarked for London silver, 1900 and has a makers mark for William Hutton & Sons Ltd.

The salver has a diameter of 8 ½ inches (21.5cm) and a height of 1 inch (2.5cm).
It weighs 505g.
~ Condition ~
The salver has some minor scratches from prior use but overall is in a very good condition with no damage.
