A cast bronze model of a field cannon from the Crimean War.

This superb example has three rings and two elevation hinges, which are fully functional and reinforced with brass rims.

The touch hole is drilled through to the chamber.

~ Dimensions ~

The barrel length is 8 ¼ inches (21 cm) with a height of 6 inches (15 cm), width of 3 ¾ inches (9.5 cm) and the overall length is 9 ½ inches (24 cm).

The wheel diameter is 3 inches (7.5 cm).

The piece weighs 2.63Kg.

~ Condition ~

The model is in good period condition.

The barrel moves up and down smoothly.

There are some signs of corrosion to the underside.
