~ Mid 20thC Moorcroft Clematis Pattern Vase With Queen Mary Label ~
A lovely mid 20th century Moorcroft vase in the ‘Clematis’ pattern.
The vase is of squat bulbous form with a small flared neck.
It has tube-line decoration of clematis flowers in blues and purples with green leaves on a deep blue ground. The blue glaze is repeated to the inside.
The underside of the vase has the Royal warrant paper label reading ‘Potters to the Late Queen Mary’ which was in use between 1953-1978.
~ Dimensions ~
The vase has a diameter of 5 ¼ inches (13.5cm) and a height of 4 ¼ inches (11cm).
It weighs 520g.
~ Condition ~
The vase is in a very nice condition with no damages and only a little crazing to the glaze in parts.
