~ Minton c1830 Antique Hand-Painted Porcelain Creamer ~
A grand little piece of china with hand painted waterside scenes framed in scrolling panels.
It stands on three little feet and features a delicately scalloped rim and ornate handle.
In keeping with its august proportions, it is detailed and edged with gold.
A creamer of this shape is illustrated in plate 859, page 144 of “A Cabinet of British Creamers” by Michael Berthoud.
~ Dimensions ~
From the lip of the spout to the handle it is 6.5 inches (16.5 cm).
At its maximum height, it stands 4.25 inches tall (11 cm) and is also 4.25 inches wide.
It weighs 220 g.
~ Condition ~
In good condition, some gold has been worn away with use, especially at the very edge of the rim.
