~ Moorcroft Limited Edition Vineyard Pattern Vase cCirca 2003 ~
A wonderful limited edition Moorcroft vase by the designer Emma Bossons in the ‘Vineyard’ pattern.
The vase is no.123 of a limited run of 150.
The vase is of ovoid form and tube lined with decoration of a scene of a vineyard, with green grapes to the foreground and a house and fields in the background.
The rim and inner are of the classic deep blue Moorcroft glaze.
The base has several markings including the ‘Moorcroft, Made in Stoke on Trent, England’ stamp in green as well as the artists initials of ‘EB’ for Emma Bossons, the date of 2003 and the edition number ‘123/150’. It has a silver line through the date so is a second, we think due to a small area that was not tube-lined on one of the grapes to the right of one of the autumnal coloured leaves.
The vase comes in its original box and slip.
