~ HMS Stubbington ~
HMS Stubbington was a Royal Navy Ton class minesweeper. She was the only ship with that name.
The ship was built by Camper & Nicholson & launched on the 8th August 1956. On the 15th January 1968 the ship sailed from Malta to Sicily to take part in the Earthquake relief program. She arrived at Bilbao for breaking up 26 September 1989.
~ Dimensions ~
The board has a length of 50.5 inches (128cm), a height of 7 inches (18cm) and a depth of 1.5 inches (4cm). It weighs 8.2kg.
~ Condition ~
The front is in good condition. The board has some minor surface wear, such as scratching and minor wear but remains intact. The bronze letters have some minor surface wear, such as pitting, but remain in a overall good condition.
The back has a number of holes where the letters have been mounted into the board.
The back also has one mounting hook, but is missing the other.
