This battledress jacket is made from woul and it comes in the Khaki 1949 utility pattern.
It has two pockets at the front of the jacket both with working buttons.
The jacket can be fastened by five working buttons and a belt.
The makers label reads “R.O.F. Chorley 1951” placed on the inside of the jacket.

On each sleeve, there are patches of the “Royal Marines Commando”, the “Corporal Rank Badge” and “Commando Trained officers and Soldiers Qualification Badge for the 3 Commando Brigade”.
On the chest the ribbon indicates the owner was awardad The Naval General Service Medal (1915 NGSM).
