Large and heavy original Royal Navy Bronze anchor is very decorative and scarce. This non magnetic anchor was specifically made for mine sweepers so that when in use they would not set off magnetic mines.
The phosphor bronze used to make these anchors shines like gold when polished and is very decorative.
This anchor has all the correct marks and is a genuine 1952 anchor.
It weighs approximately 70Lbs and is 35 inches high and the flutes are 23inches tip to tip, the stock is 35 inches long.

In great condition for its age, it has exactly the correct patina for the type of item it is and looks fantastic.
