~ Superb Circa 1840 Pair Of John Jones Of London Percussion Duelling Pistols ~
This quality 40 bore pair have a walnut full stock with a chequered grip.
The octagonal damascene barrels are fitted with fore and aft steel sights and have underslung ramrods.
The engraved lockplate is name ‘JN. JONES and CO’, they are fitted with safety catches.
Both the lock plate and trigger guards have a blued finish, this is worn on the lock plates but excellent on the guards.
~ Condition ~
Please refer to the images for the condition. Both locks work well, as intended, on half and full cock with a decent spring. One safety catch needs freeing.

The pistols are 34cm (13.25 inches) in length with a 20cm (8 inches) barrel.
