~ WW1 Propeller Hub Clock ~
A nice circa WW1 clock made with a repurposed wooden propeller hub.
The piece consists of a small cockpit clock mounted into the hub of an old small wooden propeller.
The propeller blades have been cut approximately 3 inches from the hub. The piece has been varnished and has one metal pole and two wings to the base for stability.
The black painted base has four layers with each layer getting larger on the way down.
There are fifteen screws of different shapes and sizes in the bottom of the base and this holds it in place.
~ Dimensions ~
The piece measures 12 ½ inches (32cm) across, 4 ¾ inches (12cm) deep and has a height of 8 ½ inches (21.5cm).
It weighs 3.12Kg.
~ Condition ~
The clock is in working condition and the piece presents nicely with only general usage wear and no damage.
There are no major scratches or markings on the piece.
