WW2 German Fireman Dress Dagger by Tiger Solingen

This is a good example of a German dress dagger with a diamond-shaped black grip and metal handle and crosspiece. The ricasso is marked with the manufacturer`s name “TIGER SOLINGEN” and a tiger on the reverse.

 

*Dimensions*

The blade is 20 cm. The dagger in its scabbard has a length of 35 cm.

It weighs 445 grams.

 

*Condition*

The diamond-shaped grip shows and silver painted metal handle and crosspiece show some loss of colour but there are no dents or cracks.

The scabbard`s black paintwork shows signs of erosion but the item presents well.

There are light scratches on the blade but it is in fair condition.
