~ WW2 German Luftwaffe Kampfgeschwader 3 ‘Blitz’ Funeral Sash ~

The sash is made from hand stitched panel cotton with gold bullion tassels to one end. It is stamped in black ‘2./K.G.3’.

“Blitz” (KG 3) was a Luftwaffe bomber wing which operated on all fronts in the European front during WW2. It flew Dornier Do 17 and Junkers Ju 88 aircraft.
