~ WW2 German MG-42 Machine Gun ~

An MG42 machine gun from the Second World War

The piece is serial numbered of the top plate 5389 and on the loading lever alongside the manufacturer’s code ‘bpr’. The left side of the body is also stamped M.U., MG42, 5389e, ‘dib’.

The stock but is carved 2485  (the same number is etched on the belt feeder and S-111-.

There are a number of waffenampt marks on the main parts.
