~ WW2 GSTP Pocket Watch By Recta ~
A Second World War government issue pocket watch made by Recta.
The watch has a chromed brass case with cream dial.
The dial has Arabic numerals, an outer minutes ring, two luminous hands and there is a sub seconds dial at the six o’clock position.
The dial is named ‘RECTA’.
The case back is marked ‘GSTP’ (General Service Trade Pattern) with the government broad arrow above and with the serviceman’s number of ‘T 21408’ to whom it was issued.
The inside of the case-back is marked ‘618170 R’.
The watch has a manual wind movement named ‘Recta’ and is marked A2 above a shield with the initials ‘MV’ within.

The dial has a diameter of 4.4cm.
The case has a diameter of 5.2cm.
It weighs 86g
~ Condition ~
The case has some scratches and some wear to the chrome finish commensurate with age and use.
The dial is somewhat discoloured with wear to the finish and the luminous areas of the hands have deteriorated somewhat.
Overall the watch is in decent order and is in good working order.
