An original Second World War, No. 152 mortar fuse plus two related original photographs.
The fuse is presented as a cut away to show the internal working.
It is mounted on a circular wooden base with brass plaque reading ‘No-152 Fuse, Made For British Purchasing Commision, By Veeder-Root Incorporated, Hartford,Conn’.
The fuse comes with two original photos.
The two photos show the full torpedo, one with the manufacturing team the other with a Royal Navy Commander and members of the British technical inspection forces (according to the writing on the back of the second photo).
The photos have their photography studio stamps, (the company based in Massachusetts, USA) and one is dated July 30th 1943.

The fuse has a height (including wood base) of 5 ½ inches (14cm) and a base diameter of 3 ½ inches (9cm).
The photos measure 8 inches by 10 inches (20cm x 25.5cm).
The set weighs 420g.

The fuse and base are in great condition with no damages.
The photos are in a good order with only minor wear as to be expected.
