Etched on the receiver is MP UZI Kal 9mm, the serial number 82665, 2/61 and the manufacturer Israel Military Industries (IMI).
Various proof marks are stamped onto the firearm.

The Israeli Uzi submachine gun is a compact firearm that was first developed in the late 1940s by Uziel Gal, an Israeli firearms designer. It is a lightweight and portable weapon that was designed to be easily wielded by soldiers in close quarters combat situations. The Uzi is known for its high rate of fire, reliability, and ease of use. It fires 9mm parabellum ammunition and has a range of about 200 meters. The standard Uzi has a closed bolt design and a telescoping bolt assembly that allows for a shorter overall length when the gun is not in use.
