A pretty necklace of 10ct gold with a pendant set with a round doublet opal (a thin slice of opal with a black backing, and in this case then mounted on a slice of what appears to be wood, for stability and depth).
The pendant has a bail to the top and is suspended from a fine curb chain with spring-ring clasp.
Both the pendant and chain are marked for 10ct gold.
