A nice pair of Staffordshire pottery fireside spaniels.
The dogs are in a typical seated position, hand painted with copper/green markings upon white porcelain.
Although we are selling as a pair the two dogs are subtly different. One is ever so slightly taller with a creamier colour and slightly different eyes. The differences give the impression of them being a male and a female, which is quite charming.
~ Dimensions ~
The spaniels stand at approximately 18cm (7 inches) and together weigh 1.05 Kg.
~ Condition ~
There is a little wear to the paint on both faces and general crazing to the glaze.
They are both otherwise in very good condition with no damage.
