A First World War era ladies sterling silver pocket watch with original trench style case and strap.
The watch has a white dial with gilt detailing, Roman numeral hours, two blued steel hands and a sub seconds dial.
The silver case has engraved decoration throughout.
It is hallmarked for sterling silver, London (Import mark), 1908.
It has a serial no. of ‘1 605’.
The watch has a Swiss made, top winding, mechanical movement marked ‘LWC’.
The watch comes with an original trench style tortoiseshell bakelite case and leather strap so can also be worn on the wrist.

The watch has a diameter of 2.9cm with the dial measuring 2.6cm across.
The watch by itself weighs 21.9g
The watch strap has a length of 21cm (8¼ inches).

The watch is in very good condition with minimal wear. It is in good working order.

The strap has some age related wear but is still functional.
