‘Diana’ Model Number 2 Air Rifle made by Millard Bros, Motherwell, Lanarkshire, Scotland. This air rifle is identical to the pre-war German Diana Mod 2 but was produced post-war, as evidenced by advertisements from 1956 and 1963. Very faintly stamped with “MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN,” it features the ‘Huntress’ trademark and the marking “DIANA MOD 2 MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN” on the top of the cylinder. The rifle has a smooth wooden stock attached to the action with two pins and is cocked by pushing the barrel inward. Black barrel. To load .177 caliber ammunition, a knurled knob is exposed at the back of the chamber, which is unscrewed for loading. When replaced, the knob’s pin pushes the ammo into the firing position.
