This is a large WWII plain white Third Reich German Kriegsmarine (translates War Navy) serving platter with three golden stripes along the outer edge.
On the bottom is the German Navy or Kriegsmarine crest of the Third Reich Eagle and below it a Swastika and below that a letter “M” for Marine. The serving platter is dated 1942 and manufactured by KPM! – Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur Berlin (See pictures).
KPM was absolutely the most prestigious of all the manufacturers of porcelain in the world. This was the porcelain of the kings and emperors of Germany.
The same china patterns were used for the German Army and Airforce with the only differentiation between the three services being the waffenamt stamped onto the bottom of each piece.

The serving platter is 15 34 inches (40 cm) side to side and 10 inches (26 cm) top to bottom. It stands at 2 inches (5 cm).
It weighs 1.65 Kg.

The plate is in fair condition for its age.
It is free of chips and cracks.
