The unsigned Edo period (1603-1867) piece is engraved to the body with a sage sleeping at the root of the tree.
~ Condition ~
Only traces of the gilding now remain.
~ Dimensions ~
The tsuba is 7.5 cm (3 inches) tall by 7 cm (2.75 inches) wide.
