This is a picture of Bernard Law Montgomery, Field Marshall of the British Army during WW2. The picture is dated at 1944 and is of Montgomery sat in a tank holding a pair of binoculars. Monty was known for being one of the most successful British Commanders of the 2nd World War. He notably commanded the army against Erwin Rommel in North Africa and led invasions of Italy and Normandy.
