This rare Spanish Royal MM.31 C96 Type Auto Pistol. The Spanish gunmaker Beistegui Hermanos began producing a copy of the Mauser C.96 in 1927 that was externally similar to the C96 (including the presence of a detachable shoulder stock/holster) but with non-interlocking internal parts. It was produced until 1941 and the Spanish copies of the C96 were generally intended for export to China. There are various stamps throughout with the serial code being 17720.
*Condition*
This pistol has an equal amount of surface pitting throughout. The surface metal shows its age and its previous working life. The pistol is able to cock and dry fire with the safety latch working well. Please refer to the images as a part of our condition report.
