~ 1803 Pattern Flank Company Light Infantry Officers Blue And Gilt Sabre Sword ~
The 1803 pattern Light/Flank Company officer’s sword has a gilt brass hilt lion head pommel and black fish skin, wire bound grip, fitted with a sword knot. It has the regulation hilt with the GR crown and slung bugle. The curved blade and single fullered blade has blue and gilt decoration along 75% of its length includes the Kings crown and stand of arms. It comes with its gilt brass mounted black leather scabbard with two suspension rings.
~ Condition ~
The sword is sturdy with no rattle, the blue and gilt has some loss. The blades edge is nick free and retains a good point. The scabbard leather is worn and partially unstitched.

The sword is 84 cm (33 inches) in total length with a 74 cm (29 inches) blade.
